Reviews for "Larry vs Crocodile Hunter"

Funny! One of the most funny shit ive ever seen...

This was so FUN....please make more ive never laughed so much at a NG flash before......graphics could be fixed but its awesome!

Keep it up.

This was hilarious. Especially your little refernce to the Bert and Ernie clip off of Family Guy. Great Work

lolololololol!!1!

W T F !?!?!

awesome

alot of people were offended because u were making fun of steve irwin and he had died but i never really cared about him so that dident cloud my judgement. it was so funny and random that it reminded me of a four year old playing with action figures. it was realy realy good make more. Only problem was the characters dident really move alot like they did in your other work only there mouths did.

A bit overlong, perhaps, but the idea was great!

And hey, you DID warn people that if they had something better to do, they should just close the window, so... props for that.

As for the flash itself, I really did like the way it started out. Just the prospect of Steve Irwin spotlighting "The Larry" on his documentary ep instead of a non-human animal... was quite good. Also, this is probably the second funniest Steve "Croc Hunter" Irwin I've seen on NG after the one in BEEBO ep 2, which happens to be my fave flash on NG, so... good job on that!

As for your dad... aka "The Larry"... it looked like he had a plate full of burned cookies more than chicken wings or whatever, but his introduction was quite funny. For awhile, I thought he wasn't going to say anything at all, but then he broke out with the Hulk dialogue and I saw where this was going. And that's where my review title comes into it... I think that the movie might have been funnier if it had been confined to that yard with Larry in his chair and the Croc Hunter mercilessly treating him like an animal right there. When it took off on an insane flight of fancy (complete with the Croc Hunter in a JET AIRPLANE??!?! Heh), it became much more surreal, but not quite as funny, IMO.

That said, there were still some entertaining moments, such as the appearance of Bert and Ernie and the OTHER Hulk... and I suppose the three chicks from Charmed (at least, that's who I think those were, I've only seen promos for the show, not the show itself)... were all fairly funny. I take it that the only reason a DuckTales crossover took place is that your main series on NG is DuckTales-related? Heh.

Anyway, the... "explosive" climax was kinda a cheap way to end such a long and humorous epic, but... eh, so what. At least Steve Irwin got what was coming to him (just as he did in BEEBO 2, which I highly recommend you check out if you haven't already). Thanks for submitting your insane Christmas present to your dad, albeit months and months after the fact! heh.

Macaroni-Penguin responds:

Well, I'm glad you liked it and took some time to write such a big review. Yes, those were the girls from "Charmed" - my dad calls it "Spooky Boobs" to annoy my mother. He despises it so I figured he'd enjoy watching them get smashed up.

I not actually trying to make any defintive series per se. I only make Flash cartoons as a hobby, and as an outlet (otherwise I get a head full of stupid ideas with no place to go.) The Lina and Larry cartoons are more personal and are only being posted for anyone who appreciates my work. And each Ducktales cartoon is a product of me testing out some skills or programs I've acquired. You'll see it when I submit "Ducktales 3" later this year. I work in broadcast animation at the moment, working with CGI, and I'm taking everything I learned from the industry to make an intensely graphic heavy action spectacular as an end to my Ducktales trilogy. So there's something to look forward to. I'm mostly skilled in advanced animation tools, which is what I save all my good ideas for.

Anyways, thanks for taking the time to write and I'll check out that Beebo cartoon you mentioned. Bye!

And it was only five months. Not like the twelve for the last one. ;)
