Why a 3 for sound?
I'll tell you. I think theres other people with me in saying "I hate basic flash sound fx!" An example is when scrolling over the main menu buttons.
Has great potential to be awesome...
This game has amazing potential; good idea, good platform, good graphics, good story. HOWEVER, it loses any capacity for greatness in it's controls and slow speed (though that may just be my computer, which isn't really very slow at all and i have a cable connection). In any case, the controls need work. They can be unresposive and the two powerful melee combos don't always work properly. I was using a completely different key combo for the meteor strike than what was in the instructions. they were just, in general... unusable. it would help if the fight animations were smoothed out and the hit boxes more well defined. Another plus would be a bigger field in which to move, and more melee combos more in line with the style of Spindle (that's what it's called, right?) a game with a vaguely similar play style of this one, also here on newgrounds. As it is, though, i found it simply frustrating to play, and didnt venture too far into it, although I seem to be much alone in my concerns. In any case, it's still a good game and i commend you on a job well done... polish it up a little bit and I'll become a quick fan.
