Reviews for "Drowtales 4th b-day"

Boring

If you like Drow you will hate this movie. Night elves in Warcraft aren't as homosexual as these elves are.

uh.....

i'm sure its good for the fans of the series..... aside from that.... keep your distance from this one (long, boring, not funny, and pointless)

???

That was very ... different good in one way yet retarded in another

BLAM!

This pile was just a portal for a shameless plug. It was long, boring, unfunny and self serving. It does not deserve a daily feature awrd in any way shape or form.

Happy 4th anniversary, lords n' ladies.

Generally speaking, Flash animations linked to comics that aren't often known as mainstream (like 8-Bit Theatre or Penny Arcade, to name a few of the more well-known ones) probably shouldn't be posted on Newgrounds in the first place. DeviantArt if they'll take it, maybe, or Flashplayer, but NG should be used only as a last resort -- just because of the people who come here. :P

Now, constructive criticism. I can't criticize your art, as it's clearly your distinctive style. The background for the interview scene was a little lacklustre. I would add a nice, Photoshop-darkened image instead, perhaps. Details like the microphone could use a few touch-ups, but people don't tend to notice them anyway.

Getting onto the main part, the voice acting. I can see a few viewers complaining that 75% of the female voices were highly annoying (or annoyingly high), but really I can't complain because I'm used to such things. : ) I do, however, have a few things to say about the first interviewee, whose ridiculous name I can't remember. Her voice had a kind of "smacking" quality to the end of her sentences, and it was the only bit of voicework that sounded a bit less than professional. If you've ever seen the Slayers dub, it reminded me of Lina Inverse's voice. For the most part, though, I very much enjoyed the voice acting -- some of the best I've heard in a Flash animation in months.

One more major suggestion. I find it very frustrating to have to wait through the entire animation when I want to rewatch a certain part; please consider throwing in a Scene Selection button next time.

Excellent work!
