It wasnt bad
I liked the concept of the whole thing realy. Also the graphics were pretty good aswell. It was a very fun game,just it got boring very quikly.Also there werent enough options such as specials,or combos. u know wat i mean. Other than that i liked it.
Interesting
Nice idea to splice punchout and robots... I have two complaints about the outcome however
1. It's a bit too slow. Even with low Q it gets a little boring because the robots slug away ever so slowly.
2. The music loop is fucking terrible... i wouldn't have minded an extra 10 minutes loadingtime for some decent music. Sound Fx aren't great but works.
Make another one with more diff robots, faster and with real music that doesnt make you wanna rip the goddam speakers apart
Pretty good game but...
The fact that it was pretty much modelled after the old NES and SNES boxing games kind of turned me off. Sure, it's nice to see it appear again, but it's sort of been done before on Newgrounds, and with robots too.
Personally, the game was played pretty well. The fact that there was no apparent, or expected, pattern to the AI's attacks made it interesting to play. Dodging could be a little painful to time, but it isn't impossible, nor very hard. One thing I didn't really get was if ducking or blocking really was very different. It seemed like I didn't really have to duck very often as most attacks could be blocked instead and damage incurred while blocking wasn't too much to handle.
The controls were simple, which is good, but it would have been a lot more interesting if you'd have deviated from the traditional control scheme. For instance, having more than just a right and left attack and adding combos such as up+z/x would cause you to do some sort of special attack at the expense of nearly maxing out your heat bar.
All in all though, you did a pretty decent job.

That it would send u 2 sleep. but nicely put 2gether. sham its so hard to get a shot in that theres no point attacking rapidly anyway!

nice little game you got here... it was cool for the first 5 seconds... but then i noticed none of my shots were getting in. blocked 100% of my blows.
