Reviews for "moonritual"

the effects are beautiful!

the effects on this picture leave me speechless. the combination of the moon in the backdrop and the circle of runes are breathtaking. it's not HOW you made it, but the obvious work you put into it, and the final piece are simply perfect. not to mention the gorgeous neud babe chanting in the middle doing magic finishes all up. the dark night, and to top it off the bats flying in the background, set it all off. the mood is perfect for some serious magic. or for somebody to play with themselves.

Great Work

The back drop (especially the moon) caught my attention ((other then the nice looking girl ;P ) The colours and the ritual letters are extremly detailed.
Would you mind telling me how you drew the ritual texts? Your own language or something else ?

ZeWitchKid responds:

okay you gonna laugh, the rune circles are made using a path function in photoshop, allowing you to show text around the path, in my case i drew line and ellipses paths, then i used germanic runes polices ( easy to find on google) and i literally asdfasdfasdfasdeed my way around the paths, up till there your done, however i added my touch, i selected the entire layer (ctrl click) then inside the selection i used a gradient flood filll tool to create a gradient texture to the runes...using the lightest color neat the background border, as a result the runes glow but appear clearer in the back of the picture as if they were lightened by the moon itself ^^ the only thing that bug me with this trick is that the runes appear kinda flat and dont align to the perspective, next time il be drawing rune circles, il try to find a way to use some stretch functions to make the circles appear in perspective with the ground angle so it look more realistic
