Just what I always wanted
I'll probably play this game more than any other, it's great. The engine must have taken ages to create. I probably wouldnt want sound but I think there should be an option for it anyway- just simple sounds and soft music. Could be more customizable- the pieces and board. Also there should be an option for cool death effects. But who needs any of that fancy stuff, it was good just as it was.

5 games in a row! The replay action is so useful, very good for studying strategy. Perhaps consider getting a tough chess program and adding a higher dificulty level.
Another idea; when a piece is going to move and the squares light up, only make squares light up that the piece can actually move too (Like king not able to move into check and stuff) This would be great for beginers. In a possible beginner mode, the squares should light up more, or with brighter color.

castling
castling is never allowed in 3 situations:
1. if the king is in check before you do castling
2. if the king is in check while you do castling
3. if the king is in check after the castling
