Reviews for "Dark Red Riding Hood"

I'm seeing red...

I'm a little lost, at points the art was good, well detailed and nicely drawn. At others it appeared as if you at set a hyperactive 4 year old loose with MS-Paint. The story was interesting and kept my attention. Scene transitions were odd and confusing. I'm assuming there are forms of symbolism involved I can't pick out.

I didn't really like this...

idk why.. everyone else seems to like it.. I just don't

Beautifull

the only thing that couild make it perfect would be a replay button, you know so the song doesnt get cutt off when you are in AWE staring at the "Light" that emerges from the darkness

using one palette
Extremely GOOD Concept, Original!, i hope ppl dont start copying this to death, anyways this is the first flash ive seen with this technique, so for me you deserve all the credit

ugh. decent.

Occasionally it was good, but mostly it was pretty crappy, especially with the use of red shading all over the place. Call it "artistic style" all you want, but really it's just MSPaint-esque. Coulda been done way better. There's more than just 6 shades of red, you know.

It's pretty choppy, even when you tween. Please make use of more frames per second. Also, those brush mouse drawing are pretty bad (usually) but there's a couple of good ones.

The whole movie moves very slow, even if that's intentional. And repetitive. Have a little more faith in your viewers to understand the message you're trying to put across and keep it moving along.

Hey, I guessed it was Metallica, and got it right. Hope this review helps.

My best attempt at good advice.

I think the place where this movie suffers most is in its graphics. The amount of time actually put into the graphics doesn't LOOK very high, and this combined with an extremely low framerate (expecially if you're doing frame-by-frame animations) really brings this movie down. I love the music, I think it has nice thematic images to it, but it hasn't been framed out properly on paper and it shows here. It's a passable early draft, I'd hate to see it blammed.
