Reviews for "Safe Sex?"

Where's the funny?

I expected a little something more from a submission that got to page one. So much for expecting things. Not entertaining in the least bit.

....how did this get to front page?

nice but...hardly front page worthy

pretty good

This is pretty funny material, but I have to agree with the other reviews.
The voice acting was laking just a bit, and the artwork could have been better . I can't believe you used I guy to play the woman, a realy deep guy voice. I laughed out loud! You have a realy good flash here in the making, just spruce it up a bit. Good Luck!

I..

I really dont Get this Flash Why did it get front page maby i just dont see the good in it :P Crap moive! if u ask me

Good take on those annoying shopping channels

Could almost have been a real advertisment on a shopping channel. I though it was a great parody of the way things are sold on television.

Graphics: They weren't mind-blowing but then they don't have to be. They functioned well enough for the video and that's all that matters.

Style: I loved the style and thought it was a very observant sketch which followed the TV-sales template accurately. I loved the "but wait, there's more" section with the anti rust spray, sold for an extra limited time only offer of $50 extra.

Sound: At first I didn't like the dreary voice but as the clip went on it grew on me and I realised that it did fit quite well. The monotonous commentary was almost satirical of the real life over-the-top banter you hear on the television. Maybe a little more care could be taken in recording, however, as there is alot of hissing and breathing heard.

One more thing, I noticed the girl had a male voice which I found quite funny even if it wasn't intended to be.

Violence: N/A

Interactivity: N/A

Humour: Some great little jokes dotted around the video. All parts talking about how much these things cost are brilliant.

I liked the "fake science" and "let's face the facts" style parts such as the diagram of the Earth with the meaningless population figures. This is the sort of garbage they spout constantly on infomercials so I loved this take on it.

Overall this is well written, and well voice-acted (Recording issues lets it down though. The visuals are simple but effective enough. If a longer, spruced up version of this video with crisp voice recording and fancier graphics was made I'd certainly give it 10/10.
