It's really good. It doesn't seem like anything new or different though. Just another trance song... but I'm going to assume that's what you're going for because it's pretty much perfect as far as trance goes. I suppose it's best to stick with what works and not take the risks... well, for some people I suppose.
You are true, but I am gladly able to accept changes in my song. Altough it might be rather the same for you (nothing new). I'll be sure to put my own twists in my next tracks. I apreciate the review, altough I cannot understand your 10/10 here, it's nothing new, but also perfect at the same time? Yeah well, I'll keep it in mind.

I really likeed the start and stuff with the nice pads coming in, the nice subtle bass, and then the lead coming in was great :D. Then the middle was also very good, a nice calm and relaxing song so far. Ooh i like the piano part man :D. I just think you could lower the piano volume a bit cause it dominates the song like crazy, so just make it a little quieter. Then the arp comes in and stuff for a small buildup, then a 2nd melody comes in. Very nice, im enjoying this. Good outro too, but i wish you could do a bit more with that 2nd melody. Once again, just lower the piano a little bit at the end also. Very nice bringing back the waves and seaguls back at the end and stuff. A very nice song man i thouroughly enjoyed the whole song! 10/10. 5/5 from me!! Good job and keep it up!

Well this is trance, dutchboy, I agree that it's kinnda generic, but since it's good generic trance, that doesn't really matter. God knows you can never have enough of good trance.
You made me smile a few times during this song, the first time i smiled was at 0.13, when you used that reversed cymball, followed by that nicely filtered clap, that was something I would do, so that was nice to hear.
The other time you made me smile was at 2.17 when you put in that obligatory breakbeat intermission.
Ok time for some critiscism here, the first thing i noticed is that the bass synth in the beggining is maybe a little too plucked, i think a smoother bass synth would fit better. Also at 1.43 when those build up snares hit in, maybe some more variation there would help, though it's not a big deal, it's good.
Can't say anything else bad about it, and even the above things aren't bad, i just think you could make it even better.
Anyway the track is really good, all in all, everything you made here is excellent, i love how you keep the pads almost through the entire track. Good progression, good mixing, great track.
Well, that's about it, good work, that's nice trance right there.

First of all I'd like to thank you for this really big and well devined review!
I loved to read this, and apreciate your good facts, but in this comment I'll go in the facts you disliked. As for example the synth bass, I'll change it probably soon. And for the snare build, I indeed could use some variation like effects, or crashes. I think I made this track too fast. :P I'll upgrade and fix this song later.
