Best RPG on NG?
Before I begin my review, I would like to say that I never got to the end of the game. It froze on me in the jungle area under some of the tree foliage, where I couldn't even see my character. But this game still managed to amaze me. Here are my impressions of what I got to play:
This RPG was simplistic, but still had all of the elements that make a fun game. The time based engine was magnificently scripted. The added "timed" blocking and attacking added an extra edge to it, enhancing the fun factor to a new level and keeping it interesting; adding skill on top of decision making. This feature has worked well with games like "Mario RPG" and "Legend of The Dragoon," and integrated surprisingly smooth to your simple fighting system.
The graphics and concept of fighting served their purpose nicely. There were no intricate weapon varieties or a move list to choose from for attacks (not including magic), but again its simplicity is what made this game so appealing. The timed stomps were so much fun. The only thing I could see changing is making some enemies more vulnerable to magic and almost immune to physical. I didn't find much use in my magic. I still give the fighting system a 10/10.
The graphics were basic, but I think they had to be for bandwidth purposes. Not to mention the game was sizable, so time was probably a factor when you were drawing.
Overall impression: This would easily have a 10/10 if I hadn't gotten stuck in the jungle. I wish I could have finished. It looks like lots of time went into it and it's very fun. If the glitches were polished, it would easily go down as one of the best games on NG.

and when i went to the shop it said i can buy a wooden shit. wouldn't that give me splinters? what were u doing the whole time u weremaking this monkeying about (it was in red vs. blue episode 53 spread the phraze)
p.s, april fools other than the graphics i didnt realy mind but still wooden shit oww.
