A story comes to mind...

A young boy sat on a hill, watching the many ships coming to the bay. He could not guess why they were here, what was there here but snow and cold? He resolved he would not sit and wonder but instead he would find out for himself. As he rand down to the harbor he could see large wooden boxes being carried out of the ships, and the people watching looked sunken in despair. He asked an old woman why, and she said, with a sadness in her eyes "They bring the dead so their spirits may be free." The boy was curious, so he walked up to the caskets and gazed in each one, he recognized many of them, and realized this was the crew of the exploration ship, seeking out new lands. He ran hurriedly through the crowd and looked into each one at a time, and finally, much to his dismay, he saw the face of his father. The boy was saddened but also in a way happy for his father, his father had not been happy since the boys mother died, and was glad to a degree that his father had finally found peace in heaven.

Very Good!

Great song, Mandi! I wouldn't say it's warm, but it does fell very relaxing. Love the dynamics on the flute!

I have come with a story.

I felt the icy gale tear through my insulation and freeze my skin without mercy. My legs were numb and my feet bleeding leaving a trail for all to follow in the snow. Already my fingers were black with frostbite and my arms crossed in a feeble attempt to provide warmth. I sat down on the edge of a rift in the snow and slowly brought my head up to look at my frozen hell. I was greeted with a slash by the wind that burned my flesh, but as I opened my eyes once more I saw the sun in a set. I watched as the beacon of amber light drifted below the frozen hills setting aflame the glacier valley walls. I felt the light pass through me melting all the pain and flooding my mind with memories. The memories of my wife and kids, friends, and all the joy I had in my previous life. I tried to stand and give thanks, only to collapse and knock out my breath forcing me to take a sharp inhale of frozen air. The sun finally decided to move on and leave me in my icy hell once again...

Pleasant

It's nice to hear a song without any abrupt transitions.

MaestroRage responds:

=) Yeah. This is more of an ambient piece than anything. Thanks for listening!

With love,

MaestroRage responds:
