Reviews for "Titanik"

Anachronistic Satire not a lot of laughs

I don't feel this is all that funny. Notice that the people you've mentioned who will attempt to correct your history are the only people who will realize your work is historically wrong in the first place. Therefore, the audience doesn’t think it’s funny that it’s wrong - they think it’s a problem. Maybe if it was more off the wall, like Iron warships or Vikings. The trouble is someone could possibly believe this, seeing that it’s all taken from the 20th Century. Also, you shouldn’t clip your background sound so suddenly; try editing in fade-outs. Other than that I think your style is decent enough, and the animation is pretty sound. Good luck on your future projects.

RogueHyena responds:

Y'know, I never thought of it that way...you've made a really good point there. Perhaps it wasn't "over-the-top" enough. (kinda weird when Hitler announcing that the fall of the Titanic will bring about the end of Poland isn't over-the-top enough) Good thoughts, thanks for the review.

get better ideas

ok...i didnt blam u cuz u didnt make it as bad as the movie was itself. but ur graphics were still crappy but the only reason y i gave u a 3 was cuz u had nazis attacking titanic and we all know it was those bloody nazis who sank the titanic. (the iceberg is a lie!!!!!!)

RogueHyena responds:

Don't trust the lie of ice.

kinda dumb. why'd you plague my life with boring?

I don't get it... it wasn't that funny. cept when the general dude said "kickass" when he got the crossy thingy. but... it wasnt historically acurate, not that I care, but it didnt really seem like u were trying to be funny, I don't get why you would make this movie... the animations were ok, but nothing special. I kinda felt like i had wasted my time at the end.

RogueHyena responds:

Hey, sorry you didn't like it. I guess it wasn't conventionally funny, I found it amusing in a conceptual way but that's just me.

An iceberg did flood 5 Compartments, you dumbass!

When the lookouts first reported the iceberg, 1st officer Murdoch ordered hard to starboard and reverse engines. That made the rudder less effective because the rudder is behind the propellers, not in front, so they hit the iceberg. When they did, Murdoch ordered hard to port to fishtail the iceberg and he closed the watertight doors. The doors worked but first 5 compartments were already flooded. The ship was never unsinkable. If 4 or less compartments were flooded, it would only make the sinking very slow. Also, the compartments were as high as E-deck and they were not sealed at the top, so the ship sank in 2 hours and 40 minutes.

PS Murdoch is not really my last name, it is just an alias, so I'm not related to that jackass 1st officer on the Titanic.

RogueHyena responds:

Um, thank you for keeping us updated on the Titanic situation? This movie really isn't supposed to have anything to do with the...bah, nevermind.

R u racist or something?

OK, first of all there were no nazis in 1912, secondly the translation subtitles were wrong, you make it sound like all germans are nazis, which they arn't! So my advice is that next time you make a "serious" movie, get your facts straight!
