Reviews for "LoZ - The Final Link"

meh

The graphics were good, but the character mobvement was slow and terribly awkward. This especially hurts the sword throw, which is lacking in the intensity that would usually be in such a scene. The choice of music wasn't very good. OWA is just really overused.

The entire fight was nothing special. Almost everything in there has been done to death. Especially the flying, Why did they fly? Seriously. It doesn't feel like LOZ at all. That's really the major problem here. You claim this to be "modern" zelda but fail to communicate that at any point in the movie. Link's (if that's even supposed to be Link) clothes don't really look modern at all.

Not very good overall.

LeviFolds responds:

you, sir, are close minded and have been hurt in life - link was wearing a suit - suit, not modern ? someone is mistaken here and it is not i - about that flying thing . in a way, it is symbolic . people can't fly, tru . but why nitpick over such a detail ? this review does not effect me in the least and will not persuade me from making more films like this because, guess what ? so many other people enjoyed this and i wont let you ruin it for them, nor for myself - good day

wtf

that wasnt link wtf trying to ruin LOZ?

LeviFolds responds:

lemme do a little math here
-the original LoZ came out in 1987 - im 23 now so that means i was six then . giving you the benifit of the doubt and assuming youre almost eighteen, in 1987 you were just being born . that means that i beat LoZ while you were a nursing infant
-im going to assume that you didnt play zelda 2 when it came out since when that came out when you were a year or so old
-the zelda cartoon aired in 1989 for the first time and to the best of my recollection ended before the year was up, so you just missed that one
-im guessing that you didnt even touch a zelda game until you were six, which means the very first zelda game you could have played was a link to the past and by that point i was twelve, had already beat the game and was in the process of thinking about the idea foe this modern day zelda story . if flash was out then i would have made the movie and your six year old self would be too young to comprehend the depth to which i can explain everything about this piece ive created so why dont you wait six years, then tell me how six years ago i ruined zelda because by that point, i will be working for nintendo america either composing music for their LoZ games or putting this idea into a game and theyre gonna fucking love it

ok..

As good as the animation was, it bored me.....

LeviFolds responds:

not enough blood ?

meh...coulda been better

Interesting idea. Still obviously ripped. Ripped ideas can be good if done well and if not well... music was nice touch. graphics were 3d but ...meh. needs work

LeviFolds responds:

ripped from where my good sir ? failed to mention that so im not gonna count this as a review - btw, way to have actually submitted something - why dont you try using flash and submit something after 3 months of using it and see how people like it . ill give you half the score this movie has - and im being generous

Unfortunate

Why does link wave his sword around like a little fairy boy? Oh, right... He is. I can see what you're trying to do, but FF7 music, with something that looks like it came out of the FF8 intro, and the Matrix action. These things are really just do NOT mix with Zelda, unfortunately, and as a result this is really just a short film that lacks cohesion and context.
