Reviews for "LoZ - The Final Link"

AWESOME!!

It was cool. The one reason I gave this a 9 instead of a 10 was that it was kinda laggy.

Good, but with with problems.

i liked the 3D animation part, and the fight was pretty cool.

this is were the problems are...

1) Sephiroth or anything to do with Sephiroth, should NEVER be with the Zelda series.

2) that guy in the suit looked nothing like link. ganondorf didn't look exact either.

3) what was the point of the fight? i know Link and Ganondorf fight in the games, but every time they fight in the game, theres a point. i didn't see one here.

5/10

LeviFolds responds:

glad you liked the animation but there were flaws in your review

1 - it is your opinion that sephiroth's theme should have nothing to do with zelda . others thought the music fit well, due to its epic nature and lack of epic sounding zelda music out there . also, if koji kondo and nobuo uematsu got together, i think theyd agree that the music between these two series are relatively interchangable, seeing as they are both based on fantasy worlds in video games whos releases paralleled eachother, chronilogically speaking that is

2 - did you read the story ? link is not the same person in every zelda game . he does not have to have blonde hair or a green tunic...and in the future hyrule, people dont necessarily wear tunics . furthermore, the link in the original legend of zelda for nes had brown hair

3 - the point, if you read the story, was the final battle where ganondorf was attempting to obtain the triforce of wisdom held in an ancient temple on a desert island . as fate had decided, he met link, who was leaving the temple with the triforce of wisdom, which if ganon had defeated link, he would then posess all three pieces and control hyrule...so the point is, link won and saved hyrule, which is exactly what happens in every zelda game

get your facts straight, bub

FAN-Freaking-TASTIC!!!

that was amazing! i am totally in awe of your animating skills, even if Link did sort of run weird. and the sephiroth music definetely fit with the battle that you were showing. i really like the concept of a futuristic style battle. one thing i didnt get, and maybe this is cause i never really played the games, is the flying thing. i didnt know Gannon or Link could fly... is this something to do with the future part or is it in a game? anyway, well done, absolutly amazing, keep up the good work.

LeviFolds responds:

the whole flying thing was sort of symbolic, sort of making fun and sorta stupid . well, gannon has flown, hovered, teleported...done all kinds of magical things in all the games . but in ocarina of time, he flew around quite a bit so i figured, why cant link ? but when it comes down, it just looks cool, even if it is matrix-like-lame

Ive never seen a 3d zelda movie before

I thought it was good but when link was running at ganon the first time he looked real weird the fight was pretty cool and the music even though it was from final fantasy it felt liked it belonged with it.

LeviFolds responds:

damn straight, lol . i used to hearing shit for sing sephiroths theme, so its refreshing to hear someone who likes the fit . there arent any good epic sounding loz tracks so i went with the next best thing . nobuo uematsu - fuck yeah

awesome

very nice concept, great graphics,i liked the fact that it took place in modern times and you followed through with the games (i understand not mentioning majora's mask it's the ugly 3rd cousin of the true series) i liked the ff music sephiroth and gannon are most likely the 2 most godly bad guys from ne sseries maybe ur next project should involve a truce between the 2 hint hint.ne way i liked the finish and i would like 2 see another

LeviFolds responds:

thanks dude . had another in the works, kinda stopped for other projects, but maybe ill pick up where i left off
