You should really turn this into a series of books or an animation series, your art is amazing and really cute, I think the couples are great and they would probably make a breakthrough.
Keep up the great work, E. You could really have a blast building up more story between these two and more couples. Have a storytelling of your own. It would amplify the emotional value of all this.
