well...lemme explain the scores I gave you:

Graphics: You get a 6/10 because the graphics of the characters and the animation were ok, but you lost 4 points because the backgrounds and extra shit just looked fucking horrible.

Style: I don’t know. I'll give you a 4/10 on this one because you came up with some good stuff, but I just can't help not noticing how similar this is to SB email.

Sound: 9/10 The sound was really nice...only that scream made me burst into tears as my ears where ripped apart!

Violence: HAHA...funny the way that stuff got into the guys eyes...

Humor: I didn't really find many of your "jokes" very funny except for the beginning and of course, the part with the screaming guy...

OVERALL: It's a decent animation. Work on your jokes a little more, improve the background graphics and add a little more detail to all your drawings. And try not to make your stuff too much like SB email...

Wow, that's quite a useful review! Thank you very much. It's so much nicer when someone explains things and gives insight on how they think the work can be improved as well as what they liked. Well I'm glad you at least enjoyed some of it well enough, and that you got a chuckle out of the screaming guy. Don't worry, I've certainly learned my lesson about EVER submitting anything to NG that is in ANY way like ANYTHING else... Sigh. Oh well, next time will have to be better!

like i always say, it was funny, but not ROFL funny. gave me a good laugh, which is what i assume you were trying to do... no point in writing comedy flash if it's not going to make anybody laugh. good job, though, i thought it was decent.

Yup, I'm just out to make people laugh! With all the serious Flashes about killing and dying, I think it's important to keep up with the humor end too. So thanks for the review, and I'll try to keep the laughs coming (as best I can!) Maybe next time I'll make it to ROFL status. =)

Just not funny?

Once I got past the Strongbad influence(which was hard to do), I just wasn't impressed. There was nothing particularly creative, and the only part that gave me a laugh was when the goo dripped into his eye.

Also, the graphics aren't horrible, but they seemed to get worse as the movie went on(in the advertisement).

Well thanks for the review. Sorry you didn't like much of it; I guess it continues to prove that you can't please everyone all the time. I am however glad that I gave you a laugh just the same, as that was my intent, so I guess I did succeed in some way after all!

No. I wish i could see past the "stong bad influence" but it really is not orginal. Even the simple format that most strong bad email's follow is in place here. Too much like it, makes me think you need to re-think this and figure out how to make it original.

All this potential, and you're churning out stuff we've seen before.

Thanks for your input. I know that it's very similar in some ways to Strong Bad things, but I have done a lot of other stuff that is very different. Ignoring that however, I have continued to try and try again to seperate the two, but it's easier said than done. The suggestions that people give me are most helpful, and I'm sure one day I'll find that magic thing that splits the two like night and day. For now though I keep it up, because it may be similar, but it still makes people happy and that's what I set out to do. Anyway thanks again for the review and stay tuned for some much more original art from me on NG!

It was ok

I can see that you put alot of thought into it and it is really creative, but i got the strange sence that your ripping off homestarrunner and there Strongbad emails. Other than that its a great and funny movie. keep up the good work.

Not ripping off, per say. Yes, Homestar was indeed an inspiration of mine when I started years back, but I'm trying to give it my own twists. I guess it's like comparing the Simpsons to Family Guy in a way. They're both funny and unique in their own ways but they are at the same time both cartoons about a typical american family. But they still both rock! I'll try hard to keep expanding my work and be more original. The Mailbags really are only one aspect of the website. Thank you for the review, I'll try to keep up the good work!
