totally. your use of the ghost chords really makes the sadness of this song perfect. the spears reference so near the beginning works, like even at first you, the writer, don't even know how deep the feeling goes. by the time you sing "i am the cancer," i believe you! :) i love the effects on the vocals, but i'm a big fan of that in general. your voice is so sultry at times, and then so punky and grungy girly or something in other places... it really is sexy!

ironically I was feeling and goin through this same thing....I love it...Your voice is beautiful.....The whole song..is just...amazing..Honestly I was crying at the end of it...Cuz it reminded me of the pain of losing a good friend who I had this relationship with...Anyway I rambling on..Great job! I guess (without realizing this) that this song don't only have one meaning, what you wrote about is loss of a good friendship. I guess that is one thing that was lingering at the back of my mind whilst writing this song. It's horrible feeling like this but it's good to find a song to give a good old cry, it sure helps (gawsh when did I turn into a girl...lol)
