Very Nice
The battle system and graphics look very good, now all you need to do is make a game out of it.

Best on NG
I have played ALOT of RPG engines on NG, and that is by far my new favorite. Very simple, yet very well done. The animations were great, along with the sound. I would totally play a game made even on the V1 engine. I really like the space "boost", cuz it gets you more into the game.
Have you ever played the 2nd paper mario game? If you were to maybe string together a couple keys, or make so you have to press certain keys at the right time to execute certain spells, that would rock. It works really well for PMario 2, and I recomend you try it out! =)
Not bad for a trial run
Okay, the creature may be a little hard and the system takes a little thought and stuff but it all worked out fine because it's like ff7 in my view but without the draw function. I liked it - didn't quite understand the SPACE boost but I thought it was a good engine.
funny
after afew goes i actualy one,
then i tried those really stupid cheats out....the game got 10times funnier..hehhehe
after doing the best stats one first i wanted to know how hard the titan one was.....it took me at least 20 goes until he didnt kill me 1 one hit, he killed me in 2...lol
anyway gr8 game worth the time make more guys, dont just make1
put more then 1 lvl in it kindda drags it out if u dont..
and for god sake plz dont make any more cheats it ruins game.....unlsess u do that titan one again god that was funny
Decent job, but...
No animations made this system a little boring. And the attack hit points from the opponent were a little erratic... sometimes hitting you for 300+ then the next only hitting you for 38. Also, you don't see your opponent's HP, so you don't have a clue as to how long before you finish the match.
Those are my gripes.
The interface is very easy to work with. I liked that. I also liked that you can upgrade yourself mid-battle. That isn't something I've seen before and it's a great thing especially if all you really needed was that extra attack point to put you over in the match. I also liked the attack point build-up, but I don't really know what it does after you push the spacebar. I think that should load up for a huge attack, too, instead of just a sudden burst in your AP.
Anyway... good job, keep up the good work and make a great RPG out of this. I want to see a damn good game... even if it means having to plot it out in episodes (which wouldn't be that bad of a thing, have each episode end with a boss battle... hmmm... like an interactive cartoon? oh, the possibilities. You could quite possibly become the next big thing in Newgrounds... hmmmm....)
I would just this once, see an RPG taking place in the real world, though. Not goofy monsters in a world that EVERYONE has been to with elves and gnomes and dragons... and I don't want some weird futuristic world of Star Wars light sabers and shit. Give me a REAL RPG, like being a guy from 2005, fighting a bad guy from 2005, in the year 2005, in a world that looks like Earth in the year 2005.
Realism.
The way RPGs SHOULD be. :)
