Reviews for "Death waits for no one"

Simply gorgeous work. Death looks like he just stepped off an old Misfits T-shirt, but everything else looks so detailed, it's hard to dwell on what's supposed to be an unchanging skull-face.

that is some EPIC artwork the death, say what materials did you use if you dont mind?

photoshop!

Welllll you did it. You made it onto my "Favorite Artists" list. Not to say it's some special honor because I'm awesome or anything but more to say that I'm pretty picky haha. When I favorite an art artist, they really gotta have several great pieces, not only in regards to the skill of their abilities but their creativity as well.

Honestly I've never heard of you before today but I saw the thumbnail for this piece in the "New Art" tab and had to check it out. I immediately fell in love with it and browsed through you're other work as well.

Death personified is one of my favorite things to see a great picture of. Not only did you manage to make Death look like a total badass (which he should haha) but you put some great contrasting elements in your work as well. Placing Death in front of a sunset/sunrise brings forth that contrast between light and dark, serenity and fear and really makes the viewer think about these opposites. While there are brighter colors against the bitter blackness of Death, they seem to compliment the darkness more than oppose it so as to imply the reality of Death and that he is inescapable. What I really enjoy is that as the viewer scrolls down, the darkness takes over upon seeing the graveyard and the fear of Death becomes all too real.

Placing him on a cliff reminds the viewer that Death is unavoidable and inevitable. Death's robe is perfect for this piece. The flowing and torn edges give the viewer that sense of shadow and the passage of time. The taught and sharp midsection and hood remind us that Death is no joke and he has work to attend to.

Most of all I think I like the scythe and the way he holds it. It's simple yet strong and the glimmer of the sun adds to the profoundness of the tool and work that it does. Death stands overlooking the graveyard almost as if he is reviewing the work he has done before heading off to begin again.

I apologize for rambling but this piece really spoke to me and I felt it both necessary and appropriate to disclose what it said :3

Great job on an amazing piece. I give you the full 5 stars for the organization of content, the fantastic coloring (didn't really talk much about it but it's awesome), the subject matter, and your personal style.

I'll have to go through your other work and give them reviews as well but as far as this piece is concerned, awesome job. Keep up the incredible work.

Death shall guid your soul to the next life...

You my friend just made it onto my favorites. 5 stars all the way
