Not as good
I have to say I think I will like sky boarder much more. I don't know if your planning on it, but you should inject some storyline into that. It would make it much more enjoyable to me. Also, consider makiing the skeletons able to shoot up and diagonal. This game had a little bit of a contra feel to it and I think that would make it a bit more difficult and enjoyable.
Lots of potential
Firts of all, its pretty good for a demo. The graphic look a bit like the skyboarder thing but i dont realy care. I guess it's your style or something. Ill just keep going with my sugestion:
Firts, you should make the flashligth more usefull. Maybe some kind of ghost you can only see when you look at them with the flashligth or some cave or castle or place too dark you need the ligth to guide your way trougth.
Second, since the game is called "The Ghost", the ghost should be harder to kill, like 2 or 3 shoot. It will be even better whit a knock back effect.
Third, when you pick up weapon, you should be able to switch them whit number key. Also, if you put ammo counter, its never fun to run out of ammo. So be sure to balance that.
And finaly, when you get close to a enemy, dont change the auto-switch to the knife, it rocks! Oh and add zombies! I love zombie.
