Reviews for "Future Samurai: mini movi"

PLEASE

Take out the beginning little credits sequence. You've got a great piece of work here, and the opening sequence totally slows your pacing and detracts from the rest of it.

Another small pointer is that people, once they hear sound in a flash, expect sound alllll the way through the flash. I know, it's a selfish thing, but Hollywood has gotten people used to it, heh.

Fill the dead sound areas with some sort of music and move the credits to the end, and it will garner a _much_ higher score.

Good start for a beginer.

Dude, it is a very good start for beginers like you. The graphics are very well drawn and smooth. The style of the moive is pretty cool too. However, what I do not like is the black screen that lasted for at least 5 seconds in the middle of the moive. I hope that you can fix this bug and make better moives in the future.

To much DBZ

I am not putting the movie down i like DBZ but when i read something that says samurai i kinda think of swords and awesome sword fights. When you continue this maybe adding in sound effects as well and sweet sword fights with dbz action combineing them.

Ugh

This was so fucking slow.... damn. The beginning titles ALMOST made me give it a zero. They dragged on and on. Finally you got to the flash, and all of a sudden, about 10 seconds of blackness! Then some bullshit dialogue takes place that was extremely boring, and finally some combat. I disliked the DBZ style, but hey it was at least enough to hold my interest. Still, all the combat was cliche and stupid, and since it was the main point of the flash, it's where you lost most of your points. The high point of the flash was your magnificent facial animation, very skillful.

In order to impress me, your next flash should have a more original style. Or at least make it a parody.

All flash, no substance

First off, that movie looked really, really good. A very easy movie to look at. However, looks aren't everything.

You have a huge problem with your fight sequences. They don't really have the look of amazing strength that these fighters are supposed to be exhibiting. I mean, that punching bag at the beginning looked like it wasn't even getting touched. Also the first fight sequence lacked a lot of power with little circles representing powerful blasts. The buildings falling had a nice touch, but it wasn't enough. There's also the problem of sound effects and the lack thereof. The absence of sound could have contributed heavily to my feeling that these guys weren't that powerful.

I think major work needs to be done here before I can consider this good, but at least you've got the hard part down in the graphics.
