Reviews for "Simpsons Alarm Clock"

Very cool

This was pretty awesome, half tempted to use it as an alarm clock. Very cool dude, make better versions of it with more stuff.

Frickin awesome, it's like a midieval warrior!

why?

why did you post this? unless you have your computer in your kitchen it makes no sense. Its pointless

2 words.. it sucked

it was simsons but it still sucked

Again, that's fine if you don't like it; it's just a sound board, after all, but what's the point in writing a review that doesn't make any kind of statement? At least have the common courtesy to say what the problem was.

Clearly breaks the use of flash here, and clocks:)

I have to say this is one of the most original things I have seen on NG, but to get the most out of this you would have to sleep next to your PC!
First off Graphics: Not a lot to say here since there aren't really any graphics. All the graphics are consist of a green background (with a logo on it, I'm guessing your site) and I am disappointed there aren't actually any Simpsons pictures, especially after looking at the 'play' button before I opened this window up. It would be cool if you made a giant Simpsons picture come up when the alarm goes off, maybe make it flash or animate it in time with the clip for example? However the actual graphics in this flash are good as all the buttons are laid out in a neat and organised manner. I think you should make the buttons a little more interesting though fir example a yellow colour or anything Simpsons related.
Sounds what can I say? Obviously excellent because it's the Simpsons! Nothing to complain about here because the clips were of surprisingly good quality sound-wise, I couldn't pick out a single muffle which I was impressed by. The sound was so clear, I could actually pick out the clip in my head, excellent! I think though that you could maybe add an alarm clock sound, but I understand if that is not possible due to the sound of the clip playing.
Style and 'game play' is where this really shines though. Obviously not so much in game play because this isn't actually a game. You have to see the purpose that lies within the flash to actually appreciate it, like I do because I see how downright handy this is! This is a simple idea, yet so original because I can't believe no-one else has ever attempted this before on NG, maybe even PC! In a way you have revolutionised alarm clocks - by putting them on your own computer. Though it may not be pocket-size and if you sleep without a computer nearby the alarm clock aspect doesn't have much use, if you do sleep near a computer this has good use. I also find it very original how you have actually pulled the 'alarm clock' off; instead of a large ringing noise like normal alarms we wake up to something cool and unique, it sounds odd but I think I would be awaken easily by the sound of Homer Simpsons' voice.
And even if the alarm clock aspect doesn't appeal to you, that's not all the flash has to offer! The sound clips as I have mentioned are in before are in such good sound quality you can almost imagine the scene in your head. This is handy because even if you don't use the alarm clock, the flash still almost has a 'soundboard' use to it, and has its humour too.
Overall one of the most original flashes on the NG yet. It has it's limits, granted, but despite this I feel alarm clocks are entering a newer era. Honestly one of the strangest flashes I have ever seen, but don't worry, I mean that in a good way :) Well done!

Wow, thanks; I can't believe the great reviews I'm getting on this stupid thing... lol. And I must say, that I can't take credit for the sound bites. I stole them from LardLad.com.
"Alarm clocks are entering a new era"!
lol.

I liked it

I liked it just because im a fan of the simpsons, also it was well built in the sense that if wasn't confusing like some other types of interactive things like that.
