These are the things I like to see around here
How more things like this dont make it onto the portal Ill never know. Shorts like this are good for those of us that have a basic understanding of flash but dont really know the refinements. Things like this and _ULTIMATE TUTORIAL_ are golden peices of work that help usher in a new flock of flash artists. Look for me soon under the name f47m1k3, I will be finishing up my first project (maybe my last depending on reactions)
Nice tutorial..
It's nice to see that some of these are still making it through the portal. Not alot do now-a-days. You could've worked a bit more on the graphics, like add a background, that type of stuff. Overall it was a pretty decent/useful tutorial. So I gave it a 3/5 good work.
Thanks for that, I'll keep the background idea for if I decide to update this one or make another with more preloaders.

If I was planning on making a movie that required a preloader that would be a definite help. Great job the layout was good nice and organized.

It left one tung to question, and that is how to make the bar go inwards from both edges, but I think I can figure it out now thanks to this tutorial
I briefly mentioned, although not very clearly, that you can do the 'curtains' effect by having two of the 'filler' bars coming in from either end. Takes a bit of experimentation though
