Excelent work!
this is one of the best side scroller shooting games I have played in a long time! The graphics had a great old school look and the A.I was smart enough to move around alot, but the best part is the game play is rock solid.
keep up the great work this is totaly front page material!
a good way to take it back to the classics?
Definitely a fun little button mash/space shooter. Though I wasn't entirely sure how the shields was really working. Mostly I didn't necessarily have time to watch either of my power bars go up, if that's what they were doing. Anyway, good game.
Aaaaaah too fast!!!
This was well made and all, and it deserves a good score. However, it's just me, but everything moves too fast, it's so easy to get hurt. I don't really like games like that, but then I don't really play computer games at all, so whatever.
Good game, but pretty sporatic
Most of the time I found myself just mashing on the buttons, watching the energy bar fill up so I could recharge my shields with a big blast, but it was pretty good. I found a bug, though. I died against the second boss, and left it at the continue screen for a minute to check on something. When I came back, the third boss was bouncing around the screen and when I clicked continue I went straight into the third boss, effectively skipping level 3.
Addictive, and score one for us old timers!
I enjoyed this quite a bit. the gameplay was fastpaced yet still enjoyable, and the graphics really took me back a few years. One thing about the gameplay that stood out was that either by accident or design, it was adaptive. Whenever you die, you restart with the same powerups you had, making the second go much easier! Did you mean to do that? Anyway, that was pretty cool game, famous flash person or not.
