Contra is STILL one of the greatest games EVER. I'm glad to see that there are still devoted fans of the old skool gaming universe.
Your version of Contra, however, is much cooler in alot of ways:
1: Backround objects (in this case, the trees) are animated, giving the image of an actual environment rather than a 2D picture. Also, the snow effects were pretty cool.
2: Now, I picked up all the weapons except the "B"arrier, which was in the original Snow Field (I have no idea if maybe I missed it or you didn't add one), and all the weapons in this game have gotten significant upgrades. You made the "L"aser really, REALLY badass, which makes it my new favorite weapon over the previous favorite, the "S"pread.
3: The person that did the BGM in your game is very talented, I'd have to say. The music upgrade is an awesome addition.
Summing this up, if you like Contra, you NEED to play this.
I enjoyed playing this level of your game, and I hope I can get the full version sometime soon. Looking foward to whatever else you might cook up.

The "B"arrier weapon was not included considering efficiency use of file size, but in v1.21 GOD MODE can be switched by press "Shift+P" during playing. you can try it.

Contra Rocks!!!
I loved Contra back in the day and the Snowfield was my 2nd fav board behind the Energy Zone. Please make another one of these games with that board. One thing that hurt this game was that sometimes it could be difficult to see enemy shots being fired at me and I'll die wondering what hit me.
