With Swish 2.0, sprite animating is pretty easy, but Swish isn't as powerful as Flash MX, which I intend to learn how to use for the third story arc. Message me or send me an email if you want to talk some more.

well now...

i like how everything is cleverly put into place. took me a while to watch the whole series so far, but i have to say it was worth it. the only thing that baffles me (no offense) is why the next episode is taking so long. the others merely took a matter of a few months but its been half a year since the last entry. none the less, its coming along nicely. sorry if my curiosity is a bother....

It's long story of why it hasn't been released yet. As of now it's about half done, but procrastinating is getting the better of me (cursed laziness). Another thing would be the fight scenes. Whenever there's a fight scene I have to animate I always feel so intimidated because I have no idea how the action will play out. And with the action scenes being as important as it is to the current situation in the episode, it feels like I have to make something grand in scope, or last 5 minutes. As of now the actions sequences aren't even that long, but the episode is already past 5 minutes. There are also some scenes that I want to show in the episode, but I wonder if it's even possible for me to do them. Anyways, I'm just replying to let you know that the series is still going on and that I'm working on it.

good

ive read the past messages, but im still wondering when the next episode will come out. and and expectations?

KNanakase responds:

Sadly, at this time, it won't be released this month, but now I'm really working vigorously on it. I'm currently at the 4th link in the chain of events in the final fight sequence. From here on, I don't think it'll be that much more difficult to come up with the final links in the chain.

As for expectations, I hope it isn't abnormally high for you fans, because I'm still a novice in flash animation and I don't really want you all disappointed once it's released. It's usually someone's own hype and expectations that kill what is brought to them; I mean everyone has their own expectations and the creators of entertainment such as these have no idea that the people with a lot of expectations are actually slowly tuning them out and are only looking for what they themselves think what would be great in the creator's creation. If the creation doesn't meet the "false" expectations that the fans created in their mind, the actual creation will be subpar in their eyes no matter how much work the creator put into it.

That's why I never hype myself over anything. All I do is wait for whatever it is to be released just so that I can experience it the way the creators intended.

Anyways, I think that's about all I have to say currently. It makes me wonder, though... Would you all want to see some preview screens of the episode so that you can see what I've done so far?
If so, leave your comments on this episode and I'll reply when there's enough interest.

good!

i like love your series, its cool and it speaks to me. however i saw that you were talking about your battle was taking forever. do you have an estimate in when youll be done, and how close you are to finishing? im like dieing for the next episode!! D:

KNanakase responds:

I don't really want to make an estimate since it's so uncertain at this time. Anyways, as for how far I am on the final fight sequence, if you remember the chain of events I posted on another review of this episode I'm about at the sixth chain of it. Since it's an "impromptu" scuffle, it'll take me a little while to come up with this chain before finally doing the closing two "solidified" events of the fight.

Another reason it's taking so long currently is because I have about three hours a day to work on it(nothing compared to the 8-10 hours I used to have). Since I'm currently animating a fight sequence, it takes thirty minutes to an hour to do one second of animation. With only three hours a day to work on it, it has become a slow process. Once I finish the fight sequence, though, the story events afterwards will probably take less time to animate.

Thanks for the comments and I'm happy you enjoy the series.

P.S. Hang in there!

Whats gonna happen!?

I luv ur series!!its awesome!! i want to see the ending! i hear that u got done w/ the final fight but the animation is too big! What r u going to do!? can't u just upload it on a site of ur own and then post a link!? I just want to see wat happens......

I know nothing about how to create a website so the option of putting it on "my own website" is a no-go. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do about this...

Also, it's not quite the ending of the episode just yet. I thought I'd be able to finish it with episode 6 part4, but it turns out there will have to be a part 5 to end this current episode.
