Reviews for "ludas animans Ep. 6 Pt. 3"

just GREAT !!!!

This is just great man, i'm sittin here for hours watching your previous episodes and i became totally fanatic of it!

I cant wait for the next episodes!!
OMG the story is just the best ive ever experienced on newgrounds.

you rock man!!

KNanakase responds:

Thanks for the compliments and I'm happy you like the series. Sometimes even I watch all the episodes back to back; mostly when I have writer's block.

next next next next next next GAH! HOW MANY TIMES?

why why why would you set this up so you have to press 'next' over a hundred times and read pages of dialogue?!? it was just sooo painstakingly slow for me, ugh.
dont get the wrong, the story line is great and the graphics are good, but the timing is extremely poor i feel. this should have been 3 times as short, easily.
6/10
(THE THUMB: up)

KNanakase responds:

Three times as short? Explain to me how you would have made all the explanations shorter. Besides, I think adding the next button was better than having to wait for the dialogue boxes to advance on full-auto mode. Still, you liked it, I think. So, that's good to hear.

ok

It was ok but thats just my opinion

Greeaat

That was very interesting. I like how u did the story and plot and stuff. It was nicely made and the chars were cool. I remember some of them though, mainly the Megaman chars.
The only thing bad about this is that it was a little Way too slow paced.
But it seems there will be a second part so im guessing this was the Explanatory part in this series.
I like how stories have these kind of eps that helps u understand the main concepts.

Looking good as always

Glad you took my advice on placing the "advance" button in one space. Made it a lot easier to advance the text. I noticed the whole P Factor sounds inspired by Breath of Fire IV, with different people possessing auras of differing strengths and such.

Some of Crey's text was a bit hard to read (on the bottom line), but that's a minor complaint. Plus there's some development in character with Lou and Serika.

You should check the Sprite Club on the BBS some time too. Click my username, then scroll down to my BBS posts and click on that to get there easily, as I've posted in there pretty frequently.

One last thing regarding sound. Are there any specific sites where I can get some of the sounds you used (the VG ones) or is there a way of extracting it from an emulator somehow? I'm planning a few movies myself and it'd help me out if you could let me know.

Keep up the good work, and I hope the cliffhanger's resolved fairly quickly.

KNanakase responds:

Hmm, inspired by Breath of Fire IV, eh? I played that game years ago and I don't even remember what it was about (as I rented it and beat the game in about 3 days). Maybe I should play through it again sometime since I do have the iso of it *shifty eyes*.

All the video game sounds I ripped myself using an emulator. I used Nebula Jukebox, an emulator that plays sounds from CPS1 & 2 and Neo Geo games. It plays sounds from other arcade boards, but I don't have any games for those particular formats. You can get Nebula Jukebox here:

As for the games you're on your own. As for the cliffhanger, if you can call it that, I hope I can do it in quick manner, but fight scenes take me the longest to animate since I have to think what moves to do without it seeming repetitive. Plus, I have to try to make it last five minutes! *sighs* Not only that, but after the fight between the mercenaries, there will be another fight not long after that. *tries not to scream* So I have a lot of work ahead of me.

Anyways, glad you liked the movie, and I'll check out the Sprite Club.
