That review by boskey was pretty harsh, considering he hasn't submitted any work himself. I think you just need some time to get inspiration and work on flash more. you'll get there.

Note: I judge submissions by the standars of today no matter the date it was submitted nor the designer's experience with flash at the time of making the submission.
Graphics: 5 - It was sort of like the game. However, it was much slower and a little sketchy which annoyed the hell out of me...
Style: 1 - One blooper... and it's Mario finding viagra mushrooms.. not really amusing unless you take "magic mushrooms"
Sound: 2 - It was rather annoying music and then it cut off in the middle of the flash. Try getting some music from the original game and make it loop if you have to.
Violence: 0 - Does not apply to this submission.
Interactivity: 0 - Does not apply to this submission
Humor: 0 - Like I said.. Mario finding some viagra mushroom is not funny at all. It's unoriginal and quite lame. Plus one blooper. Try to come up with better ideas and put more bloopers into your flash and perhaps it would be better. Sorry, but this wasn't funny at all.
Overall: 2 - To give fair overall scores, I average the scores that would apply to the flash video. Otherwise my overall would not be quite fair.
Extra Note: You have the potential, I'm sure. Just try to come up with funnier stuff and work on your flash skills and if you make another attempt and bloopers make more. It may take time but you need to make your submissions long enough to catch the interests of the watcher and make the humor lean towards other people's tastes if you want better reviews, scores, and make some "fans" of your work.
