cool game
nice game just warning you that i couldnt seem to buy a waepon at all. another thing is i have had to wait 10 minutes for my exp to add up all my lvls, u should make a skip button it takes for ever, nice game fun combo system and just all around great basic game, fix the weapon bug because i want to see all the weapons you talk about
If I was to grade this, I'd give it an A.
honestly, your game is very cool, and rather user-friendly. Or maybe in a way you might want to call it easy, but I don't know, usually I take a long time getting the hang of these games. Yet, yours I figured out how to play it within 10 minutes. According to my standard, that's pretty fast lol.
however, I gave you a 5 on style because this is somewhat like a Final Fantasy fighting engine, not that it's bad or anything, just that it lacks some originality and thought. Another 5 on sound is because when the character is attacked, he made this groaning sound, which I find quite boring. As if the enemy's attack had no effect on him at all, and I do not think that it is true.
Also, after each battle, the experience for the character is then calculated and added. That takes WAY too long, infact I'm even typing this review while my game is adding lol. And one last thing... I can't seem to buy any weapons... may it's just me...?
I like your idea of pressing the arrows to increase the number of hits done on the enemy.

Too easy
It was too easy to level up, too easy to get gold, and when you leveled up alot, it took forever just to get finished with all the leveling up.

one i was able to walk off and make a sandwich while exp was going up and two errr crap i forgot what two was........ good game though
