Very calm, quiet.
Im not so sure bout the darkness. This is a rather calm serene piece to me. Yeah i guess it could work lik u said, but it seems only a touch of melancholy. Not so much the despair of the emptyness of no hope.
Btw, yeah. I think of ice and snow too.
And what flute did u use?

hmmmm..flute? No flute present, but there is a sine wave synth that plays the lead. I guess it does kinda sound like a flute lol. Thanks for the review and the vote!!

Two thumbs up. I can kind of see the darkness, but the way I interpret it is that the person is coming out of it, looking to the future, but also looking back, remembering lost loved ones or something.
Regardless, this is good stuff. Keep belting it out. And remember some sheet music!
