too slow

Ok....a lot of people said this was just an imitation of 8-bit theatre. I definitely disagree.....8bit theatre is really funny. This wasn't. I thought it had good direction and had a lot of possibilities. The best part of this was the random "ANYWAY YOU WANT IT" song.....but besides that the entire thing was slow. I'd like to see you try again and just improve on the comedic scale and the sound. Then I'd probably give this an 8 or 9.
(ps. it would have been funny to see the fighter start shooting the black mage when they were "playing halo" or throw a plasma grenade..funny stuff)

This was a bad flash. Fix a few things, then make a new one.

First of all, the voices. They were done with a VERY poor microphone obviously. I'd say that if it didn't come with the computer, that it was VERY cheap. Also, it wouldn't kill you to get a few people to do voices. I mean the Black Mage and Thief voices were ok, but you just don't have a wide enough voice range to pull them all off. Red Mage sounded just like Fighter, and let's face it, Black Belt's voice was pathetic... like REALLY pathetic. I also think you should get a female to do the female voices.

Second thing you need to fix is the comedy. It wasn't great. I never really laughed. The Halo thing was drawn out and the way that particular scene progressed was pretty stupid. Maybe something like this would have been better.

Black Mage - Fine. If you're bored why don't you propose an idea?!
Fighter - I'm not sure what the words "propose", "idea", or "If" mean, but I do know what I want to do!!
Black Mage - I'm going to regret this... (Sigh) What do you want to do?
Fighter - Halo!
Black Mage - Halo?! First of all... no. And second of all No X-Box. No Halo. For god sakes we're 8-bit! Halo won't be around for over a decade!
Fighter - But I wanna!!!
Black Mage - You're a three year old aren't you?
Fighter - HALO!!!!
Black Mage - Ugh... Fine...

Then the rest can go as you have it. Comedy like that is funny. You never hit any extremes with your comedy. Nothing really interesting happened. Everything was really Spoof Cliche. Things I could predict coming a mile away. And what wasn't Cliche was either boring, or corny.

Finally, It's not a good Idea to attempt to run voices over music with words. You have to dim the music. It was annoying to try and tell music from the characters.

Now I did like one thing. You ran a fairly good Montage. It wasn't that bad. The Playboy thing was pointless, random, annoying, and useless, but other than that you are very talented at Montages. It was well synched with the song and it was mildly entertaining.

If you take my advice and make a new flash implementing everything I've mentioned, you will do very well. Best of luck in the future.

...Nope.

Not that great. It seemed like just a rip off of 8-Bit theatre. Not that EVERY-THING that uses the origional FF sprites is, but this one was pretty obvious. Except for the fact that it wasn't really that good. Better luck next time.

this sucked. and the part of black mage being a pervert and wanting to stab fighter is a total rip off of 8 bit theater.

I dont remember making Black Mage trying to stab fighter. Plus, since when was Black Mage peverted in 8-Bit Theater?
