Greatness. That and the background atmospheric sound both remind me of ZekeySpaceyLizard's works. Have you, by chance, seen them? You guys should collaborate or something.
And hey... thanks for your reply to my other review, but I don't think that the amount of people who would enjoy your flashes' sense of humour is necessarily that small... it's just that most flashes, especially those of an author with a signup date that happens to be today... tend to attract more negative reviews than positive ones. Don't let it get you down... for every negative review there's probably 10 people who enjoyed watching your flash. Most of them just don't bother to write a review.
Anyway, Behind the Badge was good, but THIS one is great. Aside from the sound side, which I already covered... the little 4-legged squiggle's attempts to bridge/leap/fly-over the chasm... were inspired and well done. I was wondering how many ways he was going to try to deal with the dead tree, and the results were quite humourous... I only wish the length was a little longer, overall. I LOVE a flash that needs no dialogue to achieve a good plot, funny moments, and a touch of unfortunate violence as well.
Your flash would have worked quite well on one of the original Monty Python shows, done in their unique cut-out-pictures style. But it worked pretty well as scribbly simple sketchy flash animation as well. Great job, and I look forward to more flashes from you, either in this style or the public service announcement parodic style of your other entry. Keep up the good work!

Now, if every artist bugger fool would take the time to explain why they didn't like my animation I would possibly treat them with as much respect as I now have for you.
