How can you even think that this is a recording direct from the game? Everything, especially the drums and synth sound somewhat different... He just felt like recreating a song, and he did a damned good job of it.

like others said, its different, the original is more, say, hardcore and this is kinda mushy sound, probly 'cause you used a computer and Bungie used real people/instruments
