Reviews for "Holy Sword 3"

the graphics were fluid and the camera movements were easy to catch.
the fight scene wasnt too original..especially for the DBZ uber fireballz overdone scene. the ninja looked like homosexual in that armor, but its only me, maybe.
the end was both confusing an revolting..that "i-kill-u-in-1-shot-bc-now-im-uber-strong" thing from the ninja killed my fun.

its hard to make a fighting flash without dbz influence. im sorry you feel that way, but this is just my style.

Infringement Invasion

I've seen all of your Holy Sword animations, so I can make the statement that this last one was the worst one you've done rather valid. I got over the fact that the Holy Sword was a complete copy of the Master Sword, and that you were using a Ninja as your hero (thankfully, you made him a Knight at the very end), but this was almost like watching some Dragonball Z Flash with the characters exchanged for your Holy Sword characters. I understand its almost impossible to be original anymore, but this was ridiculous.

SamurEYE responds:

lots of people can criticize a flash. few can actually make one. lets actually see a flash from you. oh wait, you have none. n00b

Fantastic.

Perhaps I'm biased because I absolutely love this type of entry but I have to say that this movie is amazing. Even if I strained I don't think there is much I could tell you to improve upon, I'm truly impressed by all aspects of this movie.

First of all, the graphics were great. You really spent some time on the shading and lighting which made the characters and scenery look fantastic. The frame by frame animation flowed very nicely, and just because it was done in that style you still didn't slack off on the detail, which is a rare thing I must say.

The sound was also perfect for this movie, the effects and music seemed to really set the mood nicely. The music was also used very well to build up parts, like for instance when the guy returns "new and improved" the music quickens and that really made it that "hair raising", "tingly" (for lack of a better word) kind of experience which really made me love that part of the movie.

The battle sequences were outstanding, and the story flowed great with its ups and downs. Even the portion where it slowed down was done perfectly, with music that matched great and with the nice "camera movement" if you will, I never once found myself bored while watching this.

You've impressed a fantastic style upon your viewers throughout this series, and this is the best one yet. When I look at all areas of what you've done I'm pleased with everything, and after watching this one I can honestly say I hope to see another entry from you soon. It was a pleasure to watch, and a pleasure to review. Great work my friend.
