Love the colors and the way you did the noses! It's a good solution!
I believe these could be characters of an Adventure game...like an Adventure/Comedy..The pixel art of these characters look like a modern day New York like, and name the guy in front with the Jacket behind the Ninja could be someone like "Ray Pixelotti" or suomething of that nature...great line of characters..please make them in a good game
