Favorite PS2 game of ALL time..
Very beautiful song. I learned the Dearly Beloved theme on the piano, and it's just simply.. touching. The first time I played KH1 when it first came out.. everything about the game was just amazing, and I was hooked to the game. Same thing with KH2. It has automatically become one of my favorite PS2 series of all time.. no questions asked. This will always be #1, period. :D
One of the most important element in any media, whether it be a movie, video game, etc, is the music. Without it, the video would be boring, and we'd be missing out on any hidden message in terms of emotion. Kingdom Hearts is very well known to have a very creative and unique soundtrack, all masterfully done by its composer, Yoko Shimomura. Perhaps the music would have been completely different from what it is now if she wasn't chosen to do the job. All the variety the game offers in it's music is one of best aspects of the game, along with the storyline.
Although I almost thought the music was just downloaded and then posted, little tiny additions to the piece began to stand out. That surprises me that I almost let it slip by; it sounds perfect as it is, so you chose the right instruments to add to the song. I was honestly expecting some sort of complete remix of the song, but this will gladly do. It's always nice to hear KH music when you haven't played the game in years (as my PS2 broke a while ago.. *sad face*). Brings back good memories :) Thanks a lot! And good job on 2nd Place this week! 5/5, 10/10! :D
