Good idea but you're not good enough to do it

First off, teasers suck.

Now that pic (i asume Terra) was ok for someone who's relitively new drawing, but trust me, you will never capture the essence of Yoshitake Amano's artwork. He's is far too high a bar to reach for us mere hobbies to ever come close to.

The fact is while this is a decent idea, I don't think you have the skill to pull it off, plus you're bound to piss off half the FF fanboys if you don't use the actual game diolog, hell you'll probably still piss them off because you won't protray it to thier own mental image.

Basicly put, leave an idea this massive to the pros, you'll only get buried by it.

Okay, now that pic of Terra isn't even the real one we're using, that was just a piece of concept art from preproduction that our story girl did. I just used it because it was all I had on hand. The actual character designs. And I don't WANT to emulate Amano-san's artwork. It wouldn't work for this project. And don't knock MY artwork until you see it. And while I appreciate commentary, one thing I do NOT appreciate is being talked down to. Feel free to criticize my work, but do not criticize me. Who are you to tell me "I'm not good enough"? You don't know me, and you don't knwo what I'm capable of, so don't make that assesment. This was the VERY FIRST thing I EVER made in Flash, and I did it at 3am with a horrible sinus headache and with no real clue on how to even use the program since my tutorials don't work. I have a bachelors degree in Graphic Design and 2D Animation. So in a bout a month or so when I figure out how to work that silly program and I release the opening animation, save your assesments for that time. I just put this out here to let people know I was going it, maybe see if anyone wanted to help. It's a very bad idea to tell someone their "not good enough." It only makes me want to work harder to prove people like you wrong, and believe me, I will!

I wish you the best of luck. But don't be rushed on getting the series out as fast as you can. I would love to see quality in flash not how fast can it be done. For good things take time.

but this needs to go bye-bye. Basically, it was just a few lines of text, someone elses music, and just a single frame of art. which in my opinion merits only an 8 for sound because it wasnt distorted.

There was no violence, humor, interactivity, style, or graphics. so you can use your imagination and guess what I voted this out of 5, and anyone else who is remotely smart will do the same

Major problems

1) Your should have a preloader for anything over 1Mb. A 'PLAY' button appeared, I pressed it, and was rewarded with 2 minutes of blank white screen before the movie appeared.
2) If you're planning on creating 10-15 movies WITH 2 songs, you need to optimise everything. You should have used this submission as an opportunity to practise that, rather than submitting a 2.3Mb file that consisted of one jpeg and 2.2Mb of music

You REALLY need to go and learn more about Flash if you intend to make a go of this. Take the time to search & read.
