1st place goes to SickDeathFiend, for his wicked, gut wrenching flash. I thought it could have gone on longer though maybe. The ending wasn't so great. But, SickDeathFiend, I can see that you have improved on your style a lot since Dead Rain 5. I can't wait until Dead Rain 6! Keep doing what you do SDF! ^_-
2nd place goes to shawn hollern. I really like the style and atmosphere of your flash here. I'll have to check out your other works.
3rd place goes to Jack-Skellington. I didn't think your flash here was very scary, but I thought the "peaceful" and "insane" parts were rather artistic. The "death" part didn't seem to fit the style. Also, it wasn't really clear how the "peaceful", "insane", and "death" parts were connected. Still, your animation is very good, and I will definately check out your other works.
Most disturbing thing I've seen...
Firstly, fuck all you you pathetic bastards who are voting this down because you found it too disturbing. What the fuck was going through your tiny, pathetic little brains when you clicked on "NG Horror Show" anyway?
Well, the first one was just a little bit too abstract and... non-scary or disturbing... for me. The art was decent, nothing spectacular.
The second one, well, it was okay, pretty stylish, the mutilation of the girl was... well, just a bit too based SHOCK! to get the reaction, whereas subtly disturbing can do the job just as well, and leave the viewer enjoying it just as much. After that, it got pretty ridiculous, a combination of crappy B-movie style "hero" (random guy with gun and deep, Theif-style voice), and stupid, overdone scare tactics (yeah, ghost appearing with flash and quickly disappearing, THAT hasn't been done before). The Satanic nun was okay, but all of it was just a bit too B horror movie for me.
The third was my personal preference, extremely stylish, no cheap thrills, certainly disturbing, but not too shocking to make the viewer cringe, excellent music and animation.
Overall, decent, but the problem with compiling three completely different styles is that you're very unlikely to love all three, so at least one will be letting you down. Also, the mutilated girl somewhat stole the show in a way it probably shouldn't have.
