Reviews for ""Clown""

Wow.... I don't read the news enough.

I've chatted with jeff before... never thought he'd do this. wow...

I agree with you Candybar

I think it's a waste really with all the lives lost even his. It's a damn shame all around.

Art Imitates Life

And rarely if ever the other way round. Come on, there are plenty of flash movies more disturbing then this. Has David Firth ever eaten a raw corpse of someone he murded? Or Krinkles ever gone on a shooting spree? Even the most raving racist isn't nessicarly violent. I have no idea why Jeff started firing as I am not him. I can say without doubt that he was not in the same state of mind as when he wrote flash. Even if they are about murder writing this flash was a form of creation, and obviously the shooting, destruction.

It's a pitty he couldn't keep a cool head. With his thirst for violence and lack of humanity he would of made a good presdent.

I like taste in music though. Bless that Amy Lee, the future mother of my children.

Sad

I know how it feels to be an outcast but suicide ISN'T the way out. I just had a close friend commit suicide and how much it effected me and my friends. Thats I feeling I don't have the balls to do to my family/friends.

As unsettling as it is tragic...

For a while I've refrained from reviewing this, because it's quite difficult to do so
without bias. After much deliberation, I thought instead of a review I would write an "essay".

I remember watching this film before Jeff had committed his killing spree,
at the time I didn't think much of it, other that it was a fairly decent cartoon.

Upon watching the film again in the context of what occurred, one can see
this was the product of a deeply troubled individual.

The clown in the film could have been the way Jeff saw the world, things that were supposed to be innocent became corrupt, perverted, and dangerous...

At the time the killings occurred the media focused on his other more violent cartoon. I don't know why since this one seems to say more about the true nature of the individual.

Jeff was a mixed up youth, crying for help...
He couldn't find it through his teachers, parents, or peers.

The saddest thing about this story isn't that the murders occurred... It's that they could have been prevented.
