Not bad, but far too difficult
It's got good graphics, just needs to be better gameplay - at one curve it is impossible to not crash one way or the other.

CORNERS?
Improve on the corners, make the tracks more Mario Kart-ish (ie.crazy) and give us some weapons to smite the opponents and you will have the best game ever.

Needs better views, drivers etc but it's a demo so i'm sure you'll add the rest, looking good so far, nice one!
Ideas you may consider
1: The whole "drive off the screen and you die" thing, won't work, as the game cuts off a good portion of track. This makes it unnessicarily hard to negotiate some corners.
2: There's no accelerate control. I'm sure the gas pedal isn't supposed to be stuck in the "floor it" position. If you include accelerate, make sure that brake is in the game as well.
3: Strawberry Clock and freinds in 3D makes for really blocky characters. I suggest that you create flat images of the racers, then position them on course maps (like Nintendo did with the early Mario Kart and F-Zero games on SNES) Provided that you don't use sprites, favoring for the vector style graphics that flash draws with normally, it'll look pretty good.
4: Don't forget the following features.
speedometer, position idication, backround music and sound effects, variable kart stats such as max speed, acceleraiton, cornering, etc, and perhaps hidden characters.
5: Feel free to pass up on the following features.
items and weapons, bad humor, repetitive looking levels, any number of simultainious racers above 15, cameos unless involving easily recognizable characters, hand drawn stickmen, advertising for off topic products (fake ads are okay) . re runs of Futurama, game shows from 1979, Ken Jennings, cars without air conditioning. PS2, japanese pop music.
Okay, so the don't includes starting on the re runs were just for laughs, but I woudn't include it anyway.
Now get out there, and do something interesting!

but its not really that great. Its just a 3D movie with carefully timed hittests with the side of the screen.
