I agree with Darkman. It was great up till the record sounds, that just totally shattered the feel. If I may make a request, could you make an alternate version that leaves out the record bit, and maybe the techno bit, too. A soft tune, done right on the piano, could hold the heart just as well, if not better than a piece that tries to mix in the soft, mournfull sounds of the keystrokes with techno, or electric guitar. Even if you just take out the record scratching, it would still be a captivating tune, but more so (I believe) if it stuck to the somber strokes of the piano keys.

BTW I still get spooked by the gameboy tones whenever I go through Lavender Town. *sigh*, such a pretty name, but such a sorrowfull little place.

The song was originally just a composition on my piano. I've thought of going back and just doing the roots of it, but right now my computer with all my music programming has crashed.... again .... I need to stop buying "bargain" computers...

Awesome.

This is the best version of this song I have heard. Unfortunately, there is something I don't like about it. That would be the record sounds. It just seems to break the trance of the song... But, otherwise, great piece you you have made.

Lavender Town=Silent Hill; aWUH!!?

Nice piano work. Do it yourself Alisa? Crazy how you just suddenly throw that techno spin at us out of nowhere. Didn't honestly see it coming. I suppose that goes with the whole "Lavender town is a ghost town" thing. Craziness. Kinda also cool is the way you looped it. Piano-Techno-Piano again. Feels like the song has two faces.

I did come up with the harmony for it just kind of humming to myself one day, and I played it out on my piano. I was thinking that I might go back and just do plain piano. But for now, I'm glad you liked this rendition!
