Very nice, with some flaws
The game seemed to work pretty well at the beggining. The first enemy was ok, tough, will a huge life. I noticed many of the errors the other guy said on his also huge review - the "cumulative" concentration (and the defense was the same - just needed to defend once to be protected from the next attack, whenever it was), the weapon thing, and no way to escape.
I could play only until lvl 3, because I got bored at the 3rd fight. C'mon, that guy had what life? Unlimited? Special attacks, 20 concentrations, sword hits of 2000, all in 30 minutes, and nothing seemed to work... it was taking so long I just left it. And the guy was only lvl 2. Maybe the enemy life system is a bit too random. I guess it was even more inpossible to kill him as he healed 25% of life everytime, probably something much bigger than my simple 100 healing with one of 10 potions.
The graphics were well done, even though simple - the sp. attacks, the guys floating, the weapons. Of course you know they can do much better, but it was pretty enough, and even a little better, to see the battle going. The sound was well done: the music was good, but then it ended at some time and didn't play again until its end. The effects were nicely done - the effect for "defend" (as I said, whenever the guy attacked after pressing it) was the only way to see if I defended the attack. The way to interact was very good too - excluding the non-working Escape button, it's simple and effectively controling the ball. Sound, graphics and the menu between battles (buying swords, scrolls and potions was a great addition) together all made it for a great style - the 8 just indicates that it can be worked even better, with much space for new things. Violance was enough for it, and very clean. Humor - which now I'll use as "fun" - was just a bit under the average as I got bored soon, without killing the unlimited-health guy.
Maybe there could be some more ways to make it more satisfing to hit the enemies, so you don't get bored at just hitting and hiting without never being able to see how are you doing.
I would suggest that the enemy had something like the same stats as the guy we control. It would be simpler to predict and make the hits more realistic. Of course, these same hits should be lowered properly.
Overall, it's a good game. It has more ups than downs especially because the interface is clean, neat and with many options. If you can work on the problems all the reviews here, I'm sure it'll reach even beter grades. Great work!
