You're an incredible friend

I went and read the post about your friend. Wow, that was... moving. She sounds like she was an absolutely incredible person. That was quite the life she lived. This song is so beautiful. She must have been so touched to look down to see her friend care enough about her to create something like this for her. From the way you described your friendship, you must have been very close; it's no wonder she waited for you to visit. All you did for her at the end, if she could have smiled, you can bet your life she would have been beaming at you as you talked to her and played the piano for her. When she passed on, you can be certain she was happy. To have lived such a long life, full of so many great things, she was undoubtedly satisfied with what life she was given, not to mention the friends she had. To have had a friend like you, she was truly blessed. I know I'd feel honored if someone wrote me something like this. Well, enough babbling from a random fan. If you actually ever read this, I have a few questions. Is that your voice? It's quite nice (though obviously this song doesn't show much of what it can do) Interesting that this is written in Latin and she understood Latin. Was that purposeful? Or just for the artistic element of it? Well anyway, way to be an incredible friend. You might not be able to hear it straight from her, but I'm sure Adele absolutely loved this. Or if there's no way for her to hear it from the other side, you can be sure she would have. Absolutely beautiful work.

Anyone else who reads this, go read her post about Adele while listening to this. It's quite moving. Warning though, it might make you cry.

Phyrnna responds:

The song is written in Latin for two reasons, both of which you touched on. Artistically, Latin is used in traditional funeral rites. Adele also understood Latin. So in both ways, it was meant to be written in Latin.

Thank you for listening, and reading the post.

Excellent

Even through your grief, your talent shined through with your emotions to make this incredibly deep, emotional, and great song. I feel your sadness in the song entirely. I'm sorry you lost someone close to you... I know how it feels.
