If you would of done a FULL remake of the opening in 8-bit I would be praising your 4.00 score. But, you just kind of half assed it and now you sit here with a 1.89 at midnight. I love the idea though. Don't be discouraged by the score. Also I'm drunk...

well you should have actually done your own sprites for the characters. And you didn't do the little fight good either.
not completely dissappointing... but not good
Visually, it was not FF8. You should have edited the sprites so that they looked more like Squall, Rinoa and Seifer. However, The music, text, and actions of what the sprites did was like FF8. I think you should try editing the sprites in Paint, including colors, (and make sure that their swords are the gun swords) and add in some sound effects, then your animation will be pro and will rise up.
