Reviews for "Sky Falcons"

Sounds like runescape music.

I think it's great that you decided to make your own song, but the quality needs to be cleaned up (lots of static). Also try varrying the instruments a bit more- I only heard a synth, piano, flute, and drums- or increasing the complexity of the individual melodies to make the song more interesting. As previously mentioned, the ending could be smoother as well.

Good luck with your book!

Step responds:

Thanks for the critism. I 100% agree with you about the static. Unfortunately we're quite limited in the programs that we use. We should add more instruments as well, it's true, or maybe give a better melody, but since my friend and I are both using different programs, it's a little hard to find the perfect melodies and sounds. Still, thanks a lot for the suggestions. We'll consider upgrading it, but I think (and hope) our new songs are slightly less boring if you'd like to check them out. :). At least most of them have proper endings O_o.

dude

it sounds like youv made it on your phone
no afenes but it crap

Step responds:

Look it may sound like that, but just because its quality isn't good doesn't mean you should give it a 4. There's a melody and rythm to vote for in a song too.

Didn't suck as much as I expected at all! You obviously started off with a much better sense of melody and musicality than I did. I mean that flute could have sounded pretty good at times if you had the samples you have now. And some of the piano chords are pretty good, even though the piano samples are terrible. And the drums are classic fruity loopy beginner stuff. Still leagues better than most of the stuff i remember dealing with as an audio mod.

Step responds:

I do agree that this is better than a lot of stuff we deal with when audio modding, haha. Still, I bet if I actually started on a DAW instead of some crappy music notation software, though, it'd have sounded terrible.

The flute isn't bad because Echo did all of it and he had a lot of music theory knowledge when he started off with music. I did the piano stuff though. And there's also a violin playing a middle C note for almost the whole track which is insanely stupid, what was I thinking :(.

Thanks for the review!
