Reviews for "'Rock the House"

Definitely deserves a higher score.

Now let me get this out of the way, this track is really under-rated, no matter how many people think it's repetitive, I think this is actually a good thing.

Repetitive can be good as long you change the beat slightly and tweak it a little bit in order for us to show that it's not as repetitive as you think.

Overall, the song was good, I especially like the voice, where by any chance did you get that voice from?

Really different than the other tracks, but that doesn't really matter does it? Experimenting on new genres is always in my book a good thing.

The track was really enjoyable and it's like you said, it's best to be on clubs, people would go crazy on this.

Syncing of the beats were right on, I didn't see any flaws on any pattern faults which is great!

Another good track from you, rated, favorited, and another addition to my Ipod.

Again, thumbs up!

NemesisTheory responds:

Don't worry about the rating, the song only has been out for a few hours and everyone seems to be having trouble with 0 raters. :)

And jup, repetition works pretty well for songs like this though ofcourse it's not always to someone's liking.

The voice might or might not be me with some vocal robo effects done in FL and with plugins XD

And yup! I like to try new things every once in a while to keep things interesting. It also works for when you go back to your other styles with fresh inspiration since you haven't done it for a while.

I'm really glad you liked the change of pace, it's really appreciated. :)

Thanks for the review! :)

Nice Visuals

I can see this going on in a scene in a movie where a guy gets introduced to drugs and it shows his first high. Either that or some surreal adventure.

Punts punts punts...

Nice, makes good rhythm, mind if i use it for some new musics of mine? Ill give you credit!...

Weeeee :D

LOVE IT! Professional as always, and I defiantly appreciate music you can feel :3 You really do a good job keeping the song entertaining even though it has the same bassline. The only thing that bothers me is the voice seems a little out of kilter near the end. Other than that amazing, keep up the great work!

interesting beats hmm...

sort of...funky techno...sort of thing...really didn't expect this kind of thing all of a sudden...din't know what to say 'bout it overall, but I like the beat, puts that club feel in anyway...

the track IS a little repeditive, as you've said it, but for a dance track like this, its a forgivable and forgettable flaw

I think it sounds best 'round the midde-to-two-thirds part when the techno thing starts to climb up a fair bit

sorry to point it out but I think the song's weakest point is the vocals, I've heard 'nuff Prodigy songs to not mind the repeditiveness, but the overall sound is too flat and dosen't exactly flow that well with the beat
well I can't blame that too much though, since mixing vocals must be a pretty new concept for you

I think it's up for a fairly medicore score, but I still like it nonetheless
let's give it a 7.5, and I'll put it up as an 8 on the review thing, K'?

good luck mastering vocals then, and I'd still like to hear your traditional tracks more too! don't feel pressured tough, findin' time and motivation can be hard these days
take your time, your tracks are still goin' great

p.s. hmm...I should consider broadening my "reviewing career" a bit more...

NemesisTheory responds:

I guess that's an opinion thing lol, it flows to the beat pretty well if you ask me. :) Mixing vocals isn't a new concept for me, i've done it a few times already! not in an original song though.

anyway, thanks for the review :P

and dont worry, I'm working on a Megaman 9 remix so my 'classic' style will be visiting NG again very soon... XD
