Reviews for "Dancer"

hiya, though I'd just chip in.

I'm no fan of most of your work, but you have made a couple of great stylistic pieces that I quite like, this isn't one of them. I'm not trying to bash you or anything, just think it's unfair to you that you don't get a decent review because poeple are busy licking your ass.
I like the general atmosphere in this piece; the brownish grey background works well. It might have ben better to move the lightest part of the bg to behind the head rather than her elbow, so that that's your focal point.
Composition-wise I don't like how her fingertips are almost touching the right edge of the canvas; it would have been an easy fix to just add 100px to that side and get rid of that tension, or you could have moved the entire dancer to the right a bit. Furthermore I would have moved her down on the canvas a bit so that there is a bit more empty space above her than there is below her.
The anatomy is off in a number of places; the fingers on her left hand seem pretty mangled and thin, her neck is quite long, and her left foot is a bit big I think, especially for a dancer. Her left shoulder appears to be dislocated the way it bulges up. The way her right knee bends sharply inwards suggests that is her kneecap we are looking at, whereas we should be looking at the back/side of her knee if she is to turn her foot away from us so much. If she is standing on her entire right foot; it should be sloping upwards to the left (her toes are farther away than her heel, perspective dictates they should be higher). If she is actually standing on her toes, the bend in her heel shouldn't be so sharp and the shading is off.
Unless she actually painted her legs white, her toenails shouldn't show that much ;)
Other poeple have mentioned her right arm; I'm not sure that there is actually that much wrong with it apart from shading. Fact is that it looks mangled, even if it is actually a plausible pose. This is a problem I'm familiar with but there are two solutions: you could have made the bend in her arm more clear with shading, or you could have just changed her pose.
Another reviewer was especially impressed by the face, but I personally think it's actually (one of) the weak spot(s) of this drawing. Her eyes are okay, but the nose is quite short and high on her face, which throws the entire thing off balance. Her mouth seems to be too high up too, but that could be caused by the nose. Her ears are quite big and are placed too far to the back of the head. Ears normally line up with the jawline as it bends upwards.
The human eye is trained to immediately look for poeple's faces, it tells us more about a person than any other part of their body. That's why it is so important to get faces right in a drawing. They don't have to be extremely detailed or anything, but certain aspects of it have to be right.
The shading in the entire drawing is pretty rough, which isn't a problem per se, but you could have solved some anatomy issues with it. You don't really seem to have (a) clear light source(s), which leads to some inconsistencies in lighting and which makes it harder for yourself.

Lot's of points; again I'm not trying to bash you, just hoping you can take something away from it and get even better at drawing that filthy porn you draw ;)

...ok

now make her raped >:(

Realism

@evulnater: It's called perspective, and I think it has been uniformly over-applied in an artistic way.

It's strange to look at this image, because I associate the darker line-drawing feel (most noticable on the toes, ear, mouth, and eyes) with your typical over-the-top accentuation of details as in a cartoon. Here, though, all the shading and proportions are subtle and realistic, with no hyperbolic emphasis on anything. It is a representation of reality, but through the lens of your hyper-real artistic style.

I like it and think it is a fantastic drawing, but it's jarring all the same.

WTF !

IT´S DISGUSTING !!!

Good!

But why is her left arm all shrunken and limp?
