Nice work dude. It was bleeding awesome, and that overshadowing some minor things that annoyed me just a bit while watching this fine piece of sprite work.
First of all, I think that the waves were kinda loud and distracting from the main point of the scene (i lost my memory, yadda). Waves are supposed to be a soothing sound!
The battle scene had no music. I just thought a little bit of awesome could've been squeezed in there.
And the humor is a bit forced. Your writing overall is decent, but your humor is a bit lacking. I'm not sure if there was any in there, but I saw that you tried a little, and I wasn't impressed.
