Reviews for "The Spartan: part I"

Good work!

This might not be the best looking flash-movie I've seen on NG but it's obvious that you've put a lot of time in it. And I assume the language spoken was dutch? (I doubt it was greek language rabidmonkey662) I kinda recognized some words since I'm from sweden :P Anyways, looking forward to part 2! Keep up the good work!

Very sweet but...

the music, holy shit it feels like you got a retard to pick the music for this excellent movie. Seriously you should resubmit this with better music, because for one you're trying to give us an authentic feel by using the greek language, and it does give an authentic feel but it also loses it because of the music that you put in, its very unfitting, I suggest search for music by
Howard Shore -Lord of the Rings
Hans Zimmer - Last Samurai, The Rock, Gladiator
James Horner - Troy, Glory, Willow

nice

that was a very good movie. I only have a few complaints. though the graphics were good, they were very simple and could have used soem detail.also, the inclusion of rock music was out of place. instead of rock you should look to movies like gladiator and lotr. It would be much more fitting and make the movie alot better. I like how you used the greek language (I assume that was greek), it gave to movie an authentic feel (well as much as a flash movie can get lol). I look forward to see where this series goes. keep up the good work!

ow wow!

vet! in het nederlands!! eigelijk best wel origneel! wow ga zo door, het ziet er goed uit!

awesome

Very cool, thought it was real good and didn't want it to end when it did. Although it was a great ending for a first part. One thing I'd probably suggest is adding some gradiants or something. Just seemed too flat, even with the shadows you already have. They wouldn't have to be strong gradiants, but just a tiny difference from light to dark. Other than that I thought it was great, and I can't wait for part II.
