Writing
It seems as though you had all the elements for a good sprite movie. The problem was your writing. The introduction was bad. When your setting up a fantasy the word "nowadays" really shouldn't be used. You also spelt a bunch of words wrong, it just kinda takes you outta the story. Correct the spelling, fix the intro, and you'll be on your way to a kick ass Final Fantasy movie.
I can tell this is gonna be a good series

Very good work
Very nice, especially for sprite animation. I just have to complain that in some places the word choices are a bit childish and out of place, i.e. "...goes way back," or maybe "put this crystal out of commission." However, I can excuse the South Park reference. That joke never gets old.

I quite liked this movie. At first when the introduction came up I thought the plot was just going to be a rip off from FFVI, but so far it doesn't seem that way. The four ghosts concept seems interesting.
Graphics aren't bad. I like how you used a mix of sprites from IV, V and VI. The only thing that really bothered me was how some of the layers seemed to be in the wrong order: some of the sprites went on top of others, for example.
Nice selection of music too. They really fit what was going on. Main problem would be how it suddenly stops, rather than fading out.
Overall, good movie, though a bit short. I'll definitely watch Part 2 when it comes out.
